Mental Fitness Director and Webster University MA Counselling Program, Geneva Launch Partnership for Practicum Counsellor Training
March18 2009, Location: Geneva, Switzerland

--David Lawson, director of Mental Fitness, the leading provider of innovative counselling and coaching services for the international community in Geneva, and Webster University MA Counselling Program today announce that they have agreed jointly to collaborate in offering Practicum opportunities to graduate students of the MA Counselling Program at the completion of their studies.

“The MA in Counselling program at Webster University is the largest mental health counselling program in the US and the first such program to be offered in Europe. It prepares graduates for a wide range of careers, both in and out of the mental health field. The flexible evening program allows trainees to easily combine work and study, while the broad yet integrated approach and practicum/internship experience also exposes trainees to a variety of counselling models and techniques that will enhance their skills for working with people in many different contexts while allowing candidates to specialize in their own area of interest. We are excited by the possibility of collaborating with David Lawson to provide hands on practical training to our students” said Dr. Ros Thomas, Head of the MA Counselling Program.
